Congregational Leadership
The congregation council is the primary decision-making body of the congregation. Eight (8) to twelve (12) voting members of the congregation are elected to rotating two-year terms. The pastor also serves as a member of council.
The officers, along with the pastor, form an executive team that helps guide and direct the activities of the council. The primary emphasis of the congregation council is to develop vision, goal-setting, and mission for the congregation. In addition, the council oversees the general worship life and ministry of the congregation to assure they reflect Lutheran Christian theology and doctrine.
